The 'Hub'

An autism-friendly space to serve the whole community

The Hub is Burgess Autistic Trust’s exciting new space at 243 – 247 Beckenham Road, which opens in July.

The Hub will provide a much-needed ‘drop in centre’ for you, if you are affected by an autistic spectrum condition and will provide a place to go where you don’t need to worry that you won’t be understood. So there will be a real opportunity for relaxed social interaction and no need to feel isolated because of your condition

The Hub will provide you and your family members, carers and supporters, affected by an autistic spectrum condition, with a much needed community resource that offers information, support, access to a specialist library and ASC-friendly computer resources and internet access.

The Hub will be the base for Burgess Autistic Trust’s Family and Outreach Services, reaching out to you and your support networks, if you have an autistic spectrum condition, and enabling you to access the specialist facilities at The Hub.

The Hub will also provide a flexible training space for a wide variety of workshops to provide information, develop skills to enable and prepare individuals for independent living and employment, as well as offering support to families, children and adults with an autistic spectrum condition.

The Hub will be the postal address for Burgess Autistic Trust and will accommodate our small administrative offices.

The Hub has been developed with funding from most generous private individuals, some corporate donations and financial support from mcch, our parent company.

The Hub’s running costs have to be met from our commercial activities and charitable fundraising.

Every little bit counts towards this worthy cause, so please visit our DONATIONS PAGE to help us keep the Hub alive.
